Progressive Action for Community Empowerment (PACE) is a youth-led community-based organization registered in Kiambu County in 2024. Operating within the county, it brings together passionate young people who have come together with a shared purpose—to drive meaningful and lasting change in their communities.
What began as a shared vision has grown into a dynamic movement focused on empowering individuals through practical, community-driven solutions—bringing together agriculture, sports, financial empowerment, and technology to create real impact.
As a TOPCENTER, PACE leverages the Toplisha system to effectively manage its projects, track progress, and measure impact across all its initiatives. This ensures that every activity we undertake is structured, accountable, and contributes to sustainable community transformation.
We run urban farming projects that help families grow food, improve nutrition, and reduce dependency.
Through football programs and upskilling, we nurture talent, discipline, and leadership among young people.
We support savings groups that promote financial independence and community resilience.
We equip youth with digital skills and tools to unlock opportunities in a modern economy.

PACE has begun engaging youth football teams as part of its mission to promote youth empowerment, community collaboration, and urban farming initiatives. The first induction session with Cravers FC introduced players to leadership, networking, and opportunities to participate in community development projects.
At PACE we aim to create structures where plants grow upwards on a wall or frame instead of spreading on the ground. Plants are grown in Recycled containers, pockets, or panels attached to a wall.
The role of youth and PACE in promoting food security is important because young people bring energy, innovation, and long-term commitment to agriculture and community development.
At the top of our objective is sensitizing people about vertical farms and their potential to promote food access in Kiambu county.
